ABOUT US

When “Sons of the West” completed its 2018 season, a number of the graduating members decided that they wanted to create a group that continued on with what they had experienced. They wanted a program that went for 52 weeks of the year, not just the 10 weeks for 3 years that SOTW offered.

Meetings were held at the Melton Library in June 2018 and the Melton Men’s Group was born. This was established as an incorporated, Not-For-Profit Organisation on 1st July 2018 with a foundation membership of 27. As at 22nd February 2024 the active membership of this Group has grown to in excess of 90.
